A Sweet Time At Bandidas Bake Shop
I needed a change of scenery, a desire for a bit of adventure, and a taste for something local. Though I am not a Lakelander, and the drive may be something you can’t call local, I’ve been curious about Bandidas Bake Shop before their opening. I, too, will spend several hours on Instagram looking at food, new businesses, and travel destinations. This is how I stumbled upon the lovely couple who own and operate this shop.

I’ve been in love since seeing their farmer’s market posts, but I’m confident that others have been in love for a long time. After all, both owners have been igniting taste buds for a long time—professionals with the receipts to prove it. The hesitation to visit all this time has more to do with my reluctance to leave the safety of my home. However, always being at home is a barrier to finding a new favorite place that could be a part of your life’s story or routine. Onward to the little things that are unfamiliar and break you out of the stagnant feelings of isolation. I’m sure my mental well-being girlies get me.
